SimFlow Uninstallation - Windows OS

Introduction

SimFlow uninstallation process is fully automated. It can be conducted using system uninstallation tools or by executing the uninstallation file. During the unistallation process following components will be removed: SimFlow, OpenFOAM, and ParaView.

There are three options to uninstall SimFlow on Windows OS:
  1. Uninstallation via Control Panel
  2. Uninstallation via Settings Page
  3. Uninstallation via Executable File

Uninstallation via Control Panel

SimFlow uninstallation procedure:

  1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Control Panel and select it from the results
  2. Select Programs, and then Programs and Features
  3. Select the SimFlow version from the list (you can search by name SimFlow)
  4. Right-click on the app, then select Uninstall
  5. Follow the directions on the screen

Uninstallation via Settings Page

  1. Go to menu Start, then select Settings → Apps → Apps & features
    (or search Apps & features using the taskbar)
  2. Select the SimFlow version you want to remove (you can search by name SimFlow)
  3. Select Uninstall

Uninstallation via Executable File

Alternatively, SimFlow software can be uninstalled by running the unins000.exe. This file can be found in the SimFlow installation directory.

Default location of the uninstallation file: C:\Program Files\SimFlow\SimFlow-4.0\unins000.exe
